When you call us at Birchwood and select the emergency option, you’ll be connected with an experienced veterinary technician who can:
- Assess your pet’s symptoms and determine how urgently they need care
- Help you decide whether your pet can safely be monitored at home
- Direct you to emergency veterinary care when needed
- When appropriate, help arrange an appointment with Birchwood Veterinary Clinic on our next business day
Overnight Telemedicine Available
Sometimes, peace of mind means talking to a vet, even at 2:00 AM. That’s why, between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, VetWise can also offer a telemedicine consultation with a licensed veterinarian for a more in-depth assessment that can be followed up by us during clinic hours.
This way, you get the support you need after hours, while keeping your local veterinary team—the people who know you and your pet best—at the centre of their care.
