With a background in Business Technology and a heart full of love for animals, Sara is one of the warm, welcoming voices you'll hear when you call- or the friendly face you’ll see at the front desk! Though she’s new to the veterinary field, Sara brings a calm, can-do energy to the team and is always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

At home, she shares life with Charlotte, a Redtick Coonhound with a big voice and an even bigger heart. Charlotte originally came to Birchwood for a spay through the Humane Society, and Sara quickly realized their paths had crossed for a reason. She joined the family not long after Sara lost her beloved Bluetick Coonhound hound, Blue. Proof that sometimes the right dog finds you at just the right time.

When she’s not at the clinic, Sara’s all about making memories with her family and spending quality time with her four-legged sidekick. A fun fact you might not guess? Sara once ranked among the top 13 softball players in BC. And if you ask her nicely, she might tell you about the time four moose came out of the woods looking for pets and mints!
