Prang

Animal Assistant

Prang began her journey in Veterinary Medicine in Bangkok, where her love for animals, especially dogs and cats, inspired her to enter veterinary school right after high school. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mahanakorn University of Technology in 2017 and worked in small animal practices for four years before moving to Canada in 2021. While she eventually hopes to become licensed to practice in Canada, she is currently happy working as an animal assistant at Birchwood, learning the unique ways our clinic operates. Her long-term goal is to become a veterinary cardiologist.

Prang is passionate about animals and always eager to learn. She has a special interest in internal medicine, abdominal ultrasound, and echocardiology, and her curiosity and positive attitude make her a valued part of the team. She loves observing different procedures, learning new techniques, and supporting her colleagues behind the scenes, bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything she does.

At home, Prang enjoys the company of her two cats, Curry and Bento. She also loves cooking Thai food, experimenting with new recipes, and sketching in her free time. If she could have a superpower, she’d choose teleportation so she could visit her family in Thailand and still make it to work in Prince George on time.
