Dr. John, DVM, has a genuine passion for animals that led him to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine following a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He has gained valuable experience working with small animals and completed externships that broadened his skills in wildlife and exotic medicine. John is particularly interested in ultrasound and dentistry and is always eager to expand his knowledge in these areas.

At the clinic, John is known for his gentle, thoughtful approach that helps pets feel at ease and clients feel reassured. While kind and soft-spoken with clients, his teammates appreciate his dry, sarcastic sense of humor, which adds a lighthearted vibe to the clinic environment.

Outside of work, John enjoys wildlife photography and cares for an eclectic mix of pets including rabbits, snakes, parrots, and tortoises. A fun fact about John is that he once helped raise horned puffins and Magellanic penguins at an aquarium. His dream travel destination is Australia, where he hopes to see wild crocodiles in their natural habitat.
