Dr. Edmand knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the age of four, and never looked back. After earning her BSc in Biology from UNBC, she went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at WCVM in 2025. Her path to vet school included years of experience working and volunteering at local clinics in Prince George, as well as time in Calgary as an ER assistant.
Her professional interests include emergency medicine, surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound. She’s especially passionate about improving access to emergency care in northern communities and brings a strong focus on mental health awareness to her work and her team.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her hiking, kayaking, baking, or relaxing with her two grey tabby cats- Sullivan, who loves to kayak, and Seamus, a resilient stray adopted during her time in Calgary.
Clients appreciate her calm, compassionate presence and thoughtful communication, and her teammates value her steady, supportive energy and commitment to patient care.
